About the company

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) was the first domestic insurance company in the State of Qatar. Presently QIC is the market leader in Qatar and a dominant insurer in the GCC and MENA.

The company is the largest insurer in the Persian Gulf according to The Economist magazine. It was founded more than 55 years ago and has international outlets in Oman, Kuwait, UK, Switzerland, Bermuda, Malta and the UAE.
